May 11, 2009– MRC Fort Wayne held a cultural show in Fort Wayne, Indiana to raise fund for promoting culture in the U.S.This was the first event for going out show for fund raising.  One-and-half hour long culture show gained awareness of Mon culture.   The main theatre of Fort Wayne library stage was perfect for the Mon dancing group backed by  musical instrument players. The programs included dancing troupe, singing songs, male and female dancers with interval overtures. The audiences in stage hall were quiet as they were interested in the show. Most songs were composed by Mon composers in Fort Wayne and tuned by Nai Mya Nyein. Mon traditional dancing styles were trained by dance instructor, Mi Mroh Sorn. Mon musical instruments were played by players including four school children.
